Hasbro held their Marvel Action Figure panel today and amongst all the cool new Avengers and Marvel Legends figures shown, we get our first look at new Mini Muggs Versus sets slated for release in 2012! In a slide show presentation Hasbro unveiled Captain America vs Red Skull, Hulk vs. Abomination, Iron Man vs Iron Monger, and Thor vs Loki in their comic book incarnations! Mighty Muggs Wave 3 Jazz In Package Images

Here's a first look at Transformers Mighty Muggs Jazz and Shockwave! and although we are thrilled to see them they don't come without a bit of controversy. This image along with a preorder for wave three was posted on Entertainmentearth.com earlier today and then promptly taken down and labeled as "canceled by manufacturer" Not to worry though as the Mighty Muggs Lounge team has got you covered and we are gathering information as we speak. First Look: Transformers Mighty Muggs

We got our first glimpse of Optimus Prime back in July during San Diego Comic Con 2008 along with an announcement of Transformers Mighty Muggs and tonight we get our first official look at the four characters that will make up wave one of this highly anticipated line. Indy Rides Off Into The Sunset

Rumors started flying yesterday that the Indiana Jones Mighty Muggs line was coming to an end after bbts.com sent out emails to customers stating that waves 2 and 3 were canceled by Hasbro. We have gotten official word from Hasbro and The Mighty Muggs Lounge can now confirm that Indy Muggs have indeed been canceled. Stay tuned to for more info as we get it!

Marvel Mighty Muggs Wave 4 Hits Retail

The Hunt is on Loungers! Reports are starting to come in that Wave 4 of the Marvel Mighty Muggs which consist of Human Torch, Silver Surfer and the almighty Galactus have been found at retail. Fire up those credit cards!

Marvel Mighty Muggs Wave 3 Found At Retail

The Mighty Muggs Lounge forums are all buzz with reports of Loungers finding Marvel Mighty Muggs wave 3 at retail this week. Looks like the hunt is on!

SDCC 2008 Friday

Tons of new images and announcements were made at various Hasbro panels at San Diego today so please bear with me! First up, The Punisher and his arch-villain Jigsaw will be Toys R Us exclusives late 2008.

a sneak peak at some Marvel Mighty Muggs on tap for 2009 were also announced and previewed today. As you can see from the image above from our friends over at Marvelousnews.com expect to see the Vision, Ultimate Captain America, a Skrull and Iron Man in his original Avengers armor.


Now on to Star Wars Mighty Muggs, Wave 6 and a preview of wave 7 were announced and previewed. As you can see from the image which comes to us from the gang at Rebelscum.com wave 6 will consist of Hoth Han Solo, Plo Koon, Grand Moff Tarkin and Darth Vader.
A partial wave 7 was also shown with a shirtless Darth Maul and Darth Revan, both of these characters from the Expanded Universe.

On a side note, the Indiana Jones Toht, Irina Spalko and Tuxedo Indy were formally announced as wave 3. On tap for tomorrow is the Transformers presentation where we hope to learn and see a bit more information on future waves of the Transformers Mighty Muggs line.

San Diego Comic Con 2008 Preview Night Breaking News

Just got back from SDCC Preview night and we are now hard at work to bring you the latest news and images. The biggest story coming from Hasbro tonight is that we can now confirm that 2009 will bring us GI Joe and Transformers Mighty Muggs. The samples we saw tonight are NOT movie based but are cartoon based. Wave one from GI Joe will give us Duke, Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander and Stormshadow. Wave one from the Transformers license will give us Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Soundwave. Images will be up in our forums momentarily. Stay tuned for more from Hasbro panels starting tomorrow.
